Episode 10, 02/17/2006: "Not about Video Games"

Sollosi joins regular hosts Bobby and J as the podcast reaches double digits. We celebrate turning ten with a healthy does of news, including the new web browser and tv tuner for the Nintendo DS, the achievement system on the Xbox 360, specifics on the new game modes on the upcoming Tetris DS, a group of prostitutes who are upset about GTA3, and lots more. Plus, we talk about where all of the great music comes from that begins and ends each of our episodes, what games we've been playing, and as usual, out guest puts yet another game(s) into the Ultimate Library. All that and lost of off-topic tangents on this week's edition of the GCP.

Eh. Once again, good episode, although I kind of tuned out during the entire section on Castlevania...but I dunno...I got a feel that the intro was so fake, as cue cards were used...and the thing that makes the podcast so special is the authentic and random feel of each episode. Ah well.

If they're going to do an AIAS awards show, they'd better have better awards than giving "Need for Speed: Underground" Best Racing Game. >:(

I'm still not sure how 8-player Tetris will work...but it'll be fun...better than 2-player Tetris Attack, I hope. (Pokemon Puzzle Game was amazing) Yoshi was pretty fun...I remember my sister telling me Bobby was so happy when he beat her. :p

Only IGN Handheld throws around 10s like candy on Halloween. They've given only two console games a 10 rating: Ocarina of Time and Soul Calibur. :p
