Finally listened to it...great episode. Liked all of the random jokes.
Here's another way to connect Pirates to another PC game: Sid Meier of Civilization IV fame had once made a game called "Sid Meier's Pirates!" Pirates -> Like pirates? -> Sid Meier's Pirates! -> Civ IV.
Another big MMORPG: Maple Story. Never played it, but I know many that do. Also Kingdom of Loathing.

Maybe that would replace Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories as the #1 reason to get a PSP.
